The first scrapbook entry

This is a bit funny but all good starts are to be taken seriously. Starting to post my idea is not a serious endeavour but nevertheless it’s an effort which can be misunderstood at times. A scrapbook post like this is for keeping the customs in mind for small and big starts. Let me tell you things that we don\'t know from the books but comprehend from our experiences or just elderly advice. If we talk about auspicious things then we only know from experience that there are certain signs for a good start. In traditional India there are a lot of signs that are thought of as significant as symbols of hope and positivity. Signs from nature are one of the most common examples of good omen. Clean sunrise, chirping of birds, calm weather are the signs of renewal and fresh starts. The flight of birds is seen as a sign of freedom, peace and prosperity. Flowing water and drizzles of rain are also seen as a sign of emotional cleansing and new beginnings. Traditionally we see the first step taken on the right foot, wearing clean or new clothes, or beginning the day with uplifting words as signs that success will follow. Stones stacked on each other hint at guidance and direction. Someone has treaded this path before and the direction is safe for journey. It also symbolises the fact that we in society are dependent on each other and treasure peacefulness and stability. Stones stacked on a beach often symbolize balance, guidance, human connection, and a moment of mindfulness—a small but meaningful interaction between people and the natural world. Similarly the first entry in the ledger and laying the first brick is considered good sign for a start. undefined
