I was reading a book called 'sick in the head' by Judd Apatow. It is about interviews with the biggest names in comedy in Hollywood over the last 30 years. The book accidently landed on my desk. I only knew a few of the comedians like Jay leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler, Chris rock, Ben stiller, Steve Martin and a few more. Its a proper book, I mean people in humour business will study the science of being funny because its so hard to be humorous for a long time. The humorists talked about their trade seriously. So this book is for the shelves of stand-up comedians, TV and cinema folks. I liked it and some of us who like reading interviews will enjoy it.
Humour is such a necessary element in our everyday lives. I am not very funny but everything that makes life happier shud be in our tool kit. My high school teacher told us a story about her friend who happened to shake hands with a Duke after she performed in some event. She was feeling so superior that she didn't even wash her hands for days. The feeling is the same :) ...
So what's there to watch on a holiday ? ... Batwara, Odyssey.
